So, you’ve decided to take the plunge and get an inground pool installed. And after…
As you know, we don’t do pool installation in Maryland in January and February. Even March is too early to get started most years. The ground is frozen and possibly covered with snow, or completely saturated. It’s a slow time for most pool builders across the United States. So what does the industry do? Put on Pool and Spa trade shows.
These trade shows are a chance for pool industry folks to do more than have a good time. We learn about new products and innovations, as well as take continuing education classes, so we can bring what we learn to each pool installation project.
Here are some highlights:
Northeast Pool and Spa Show
Held in Atlantic City, NJ the Northeast Pool and Spa Show was held on January 25-27. With expanded floor show hours and both morning and afternoon educational sessions, this show was packed with opportunities.
From technical training for pool service teams to hands-on training in installing glass tile and pool coping to hands-on training in major pool renovations, there was the opportunity to learn a lot. We strive to provide you with the best inground pool installation and pool care services we can, and continuing education is part of that.
While we did not attend this particular trade show, you can rest assured that every staff member, from the design team to your pool care pro is always learning and applying newly acquired knowledge and techniques to better serve you, our clients.
Florida’s Pool and Spa Show
The Florida Pool and Spa show will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year. The Everything Under the Sun Expo will be held in Orlando on March 4-5. This show is for pool and spa professionals as well as outdoor living and solar professionals.
We’ll keep an eye on news from this show, including any new products that will make your inground pool experience a better one.
Make It Exceptional. Make It Woodfield.
Although we are not currently installing new pools, we continue to provide onsite consultations. We are currently booking pool installation jobs for the spring. As a reminder, we install both fiberglass pools as well as custom-designed concrete (gunite) pools.
